GTA REALTORS® First Glimpse At New MLS Interface
TORONTO, October 19, 2011 – An advanced new interface to help Greater Toronto REALTORS® gather information for their clients will be unveiled at the Toronto Real Estate Board’s Annual General Meeting October 20th.
A demonstration, presented by the developer of TREB’s MLS® system, will showcase new functionality coming to TorontoMLS in 2012, including the ability to conduct searches by a drawing shape on a map, to quickly determine how changing criteria affects search results and to email listings while viewing them.
In addition to a number of other exciting features, the new interface will be compatible with various Internet browsers and different platforms, including Mac, offering Greater Toronto REALTORS® more versatility than ever before.
“As a professional association we are continuously striving to develop the most efficient tools for our Members,” said TREB President Richard Silver. “Their clients depend on them to provide information and advice tailored to individual needs expeditiously, and it’s our goal to help them deliver.”
Prior to the new Stratus interface demonstration, TREB’s AGM will feature a video presentation on the accomplishments of the past term, an overview of objectives for the current period, a review of finances and presentations to recognize individuals who recently served as TREB President.
Attendees will also be able to peruse a tabletop tradeshow comprised of a large number of exhibitors from Canada’s largest real estate tradeshow, which is held as part of TREB’s annual REALTOR® QUEST conference in May.

The tradeshow opens at 8a.m., with a complimentary continental breakfast available from 9a.m. to 10:30a.m.
TREB’s 91st Annual General meeting begins at 10:30a.m. at the Allstream Centre, Exhibition Place.
